Kenneth Laake

Kenneth A. Laake, lifelong resident of Bastrop, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2013. Ken was born in Bastrop on August 23, 1946 to Frank H. and Odie Wuneburger Laake. He graduated Bastrop High School and attended Southwest Texas State University, and Del Mar College. Ken worked in the family owned business, Laake Hardware. He is predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Billie and Jim DeBaun; nieces, Leslie Cosby (Ken)and Jenna Anding (Jack); nephew, James DeBaun(Patty); great-nephew, Kyle Anding; and great-nieces, Kayla and Kelsey Chandler. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home with graveside services following at Dixon Prairie Cemetery.
