Doralea K. Templeton

Lea Templeton(Doralea) Lea Templeton of Del Valle went peacefully to be with our Lord June 15, 2013. She was born in Houston October 5, 1940, to H. C. (Bill) Kerr and Rose Beryl Kerr. A graduate of Houston Milby High School, Lea spent several years in Atlanta, Georgia, before moving to Austin in 1974. Before her retirement in 1998, Lea worked in accounting and bookkeeping for various businesses, and continued to work part-time in the field for the next several years. Lea is survived by her husband, Rodney Templeton of Del Valle; son Stephen Kerr of Austin; brother Ralph Kerr of Tennessee, and two grandchildren: Jessica Stone of Georgetown and James Kerr of Austin. She’s also survived by niece Regina Kerr of Houston, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Graveside services will be held Wednesday morning, 10 Am, at Haynie Chapel Cemetery in Garfield. Her beautiful smile and willingness to put others above herself will always be treasured.
