SFC Randy Lane Barber, age 29 serving in the U.S. Army at Ft. Sill, OK was called from this life suddenly on Friday, January 4, 2013 in Lawton, OK. He was born September 17, 1983 in Austin, TX to Henry and Pamela (Chambers) Barber. He was married to Valerie (Martinez) Barber in Austin on November 17, 2004. Randy is survived by: his wife Valerie; sons Randy Lane Barber Jr., and Brayden Jace Barber; daughter Abigail Elane Barber; parents Henry and Pamela Barber; brother Clinton Wayne Barber, grandparents T.V. and Patricia Chambers; and father and mother-in-law Johnny and Susan Martinez. The family will receive guests at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 6:00-8:00pm. Funeral Services will be 10:00am Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home. Graveside services with full military honors will be at Haynie Chapel Cemetery, Garfield, Texas following the funeral services.
