Vivian Irene Massey

Vivian Gilberg Massey went home to Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior, on November 24, 2012. Born in Govalle Texas, a gardening community of Austin, December 1, 1922; Vivian was the last surviving child of Carl Gilberg and Alma Johnson Gilberg. Vivian enjoyed working until the age of 80 in the manufacturing industry; companies included Hill Book Bindery, Data General, Tracor, and Sulzer Medical Orthopedics. Vivian’s late husband was Woodrow Emil Massey. Vivian has three children, Woodie Massey, Mike Massey and Irene Massey; a loving daughter-in-law Cherry Massey, and cherished grandson Keith Massey; all of Bastrop Texas. Graveside services are planned for 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 26, 2012 at Live Oak Community Cemetery in Manchaca, Texas. Arrangements are entrusted to Bastrop Providence Funeral Home, Bastrop.
