Richard Allen Houston Richard Houston passed away on Monday, August 6, 2012 at his home in Del Valle, Tx. He was born on November 19, 1959 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Robert Houston(deceased) and Letha Batchelder. He is survived by his loving wife; Sandra, his children; Cash and Cielo Houston of Del Valle, Chase Houston of Alabama and Richard Houston II of Seguin, Tx and five grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister; Cheryl Ann, brothers; Kile, Gary, and Keith; and a large, loving family. Richard loved to ride his horses, spend time in Marfa, TX and be with his family. Richard was full of life, a hard worker, always good for a laugh, and a devoted family man. The family would like to express their appreciation to Richard’s caregivers: Jimmy Hastings, Donna Walker, and Sandy Scott for all of the love and tenderness that they showed for Richard on a daily basis. The family would like to extend a special thanks to “The Posse” for all their love and support. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 10 at 6:30pm at the Cedar Creek United Methodist Church Chapel. The family asks that donations be made to the Government Employees Federal Credit Union in the name of the Houston family in lieu of flowers.
