Edward Dean Faglie May 11, 1942 - July 25, 2012 Edward Faglie of Cedar Creek, TX began his eternal life in Heaven on Wednesday, met by his Heavenly Father and many beloved family members. A native of Austin and Central Texas, Edward spent over 45 years operating his business as a commercial and residential painter, while raising his 5 children in the Texas Hill Country with his beloved wife Ima Jean. When he wasn’t painting, Edward spent his time with his family enjoying the sights and scenes of Texas – specifically any location near a river, creek, lake, or stream. Grounded in his faith, Edward spent many years serving as a Deacon at Gospel Lighthouse Church, where he attended with his wife. Edward is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ima Jean Faglie, daughter Bonita Mueller and husband Gerald of Pflugerville, daughter Sandra Carlow and husband Jerry of San Antonio, son Kenneth Faglie of Cedar Creek, 12 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by daughter Lori Michelle Faglie, son Gregory Faglie, grandson Allen Matheny, and grandson Eric Faglie. The family would like to thank Standards Hospice and the many special friends and family who helped make Edward’s final days comfortable at home. The family will be receiving visitors Friday evening July 27, 2012 between 5:00pm and 8:00pm at Providence Funeral Home – Bastrop A celebration of Edward’s life will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 11:00am, Providence Funeral Home – Bastrop, Graveside Services will follow at 2:00 pm, Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery, Pflugerville, Texas. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Bastrop Providence Funeral Home.
