Melvin Reaves

Mel passed away March 2, 2012 at his home in Bastrop, Texas with his family by his side. Left to cherish his memories are: his wife of 74 years, Cynthia Reaves and their four children, Woody Reaves and wife Rose, Bobbie Broadbent and husband Harold, Dennis Reaves and wife, Genie, Jackie Beck and husband Merle; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Melvin was laid to rest Tuesday, March 6, 2012 in Fairview Cemetery. His greatest contribution was enriching his and Cynthia's lives with 4 beautiful children. The family offers sincere thanks to AMED Hospice for the wonderful care they gave him in his last 3 days.
