Jimmie Lee Powell Jr. age 47 of Smithville passed away February 15, 2012. Jimmie was born August 2, 1964 in Austin, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father Jimmie Lee Powell Sr. He is survived by his mother; Janie Mae Powell, children; Kenneth A. Powell and Clara Young, brothers; Jerry Powell and Jason Powell, and sisters; Janifer Coffey and Juanda Bergquist. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00pm Friday, February 24, 2012. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home with Interment following at Powell Family Cemetery, Smithville, Texas.
