Laurie Meuth Woodward was called from this life on November 14, 2011 at her home. Laurie Meuth Woodward, age 45, of Rockne, Texas lost her 7 year battle with cancer on Monday, November 14, 2011. She was born January 19, 1966 to Virgil and Alma Meuth. Laurie is survived by her husband Robert (Bob) Charles Woodward II; two sons, Robert Charles Woodward III & Bruno Virgil Woodward of Rockne; parents Virgil & Alma Meuth of Rockne; brother Darrell Meuth of Austin; sister Lisa Tucker and husband Tim of Rockne; sister-in-law Tracey Woodward of Lubbock; nephews Greg Tucker and Kevin Tucker of Rockne and Eren Cataloglu serving in the US Military. The family feels truly blessed by the love and support provided by their many friends, family and the community of Rockne. They would also like to thank the following, Dr. Beth Hellerstedt of Texas Oncology and Hospice Austin. A Rosary will be recited 7:00pm Wednesday and Mass will celebrated 10:00am Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rockne, Texas. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
