Brandon Israel Leyva was called to be with the Lord on September 7, 2011 at the age of 3 years, 11 months and 17 days. He was born September 24, 2007 in Mexico. Leukemia took his life. He is survived by his parents, Ignacio and Nancy Leyva and many other family members. Visitation was 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.Friday at Ascension Catholic Church in Bastrop where the Mass was celebrated at 3:00 p.m. by Father Rafael. Burial was in Alta Vista Cemetery.
