Harlene Hall

April 9, 1933 — May 9, 2011

Harlene was born on April 9, 1933, in Kildare, Oklahoma, to Harry Harmon and Ula Mae Fish.  She was raised in Ponca City, Oklahoma, attending schools there and graduating from Ponca City High School in May of 1951.  On Flag Day of that  year she married Howard Hall, joining him in lengthy military service.  That service found her making homes in seven states and four overseas assignments: two in Japan, one on Okinawa and one in the Netherlands.  In all those locations Harlene was active in local and military related charitable activities.  Dear to her heart were the Heifer organization, St. Jude’s Hospital, and activity groups concerned with animal life. On May 9, 2011, a day with the presence of her children and filled with fellowship and joy, she was suddenly called to glory.  Harlene was preceded in death by her parents and sister.  She is survived by her husband, her son, Howard, Jr., her daughter, Karen Hall Thompson and two grandchildren, Victoria and William Thompson.           The family will have a memorial service at a later date.  Should you wish to honor her memory, please donate to your church or your favorite charity.           A loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother, her departure from this earth leaves a void hard to fill.  We ask God’s help in that effort.  Our great love for her will continue throughout our days. BLUE SKIES, GREEN LIGHTS, TAIL WINDS- ALL THE BEST, SWEETHEART
