Dana Rush

Dana Gavin Rush, age 57, of Bastrop passed away at his home on March 29, 2011. He was born July 31, 1953. Dana had retired as the golf pro of Pine Forest Golf Club 17 years ago and was currently an accountant with the U.S. Treasury Department. He is survived by: his wife, Trudy Rush; a son, Gavin Edward Rush, Esq.; a daughter, Jennalyn Rush-Kriner; his mother, Doris Rush; a brother, Santry Rush; and two sisters, Rosalind Dees and Shelley Burelsmith. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home in Bastrop, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Diabetes Association.
