Adell Brinkman

Georgia Adell Brinkman, age 99, of Bastrop went to be with her Lord on March 7, 2011. She was born in Moulton, Texas to Jeff and Bertha (Johnson) Wood. She was employed for a number of years by the Bastrop ISD as a cafeteria worker. She was an active member in the First Baptist Church and was the oldest active member at her death. Adell was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband Frank Brinkman; and 5 brothers. She is survived by: daughters, Dorothy Ensminger and Alice Brinkman; a sister, Catherine Doyle; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. The family will receive guests at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home, Bastrop, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday evening, March 13, 2011. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2011 at Fairview Cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to First Baptist Church of Bastrop Building Fund, 1201 Water Street, Bastrop, TX 78602.
