Lovell Lee Rose aka “Bud Rose” Our wonderful and honorable, Son, husband, father, and grandfather, passed away quietly in his home with his family and Hospice by his side. Lovell Lee Rose AKA “Bud Rose crossed over @ 6:15 AM January the 23rd, 2011. Bud flew with the angels to join the lord and his soul mate, his beautiful wife Mary Sarah Rose, who preceded him in death, also, who preceded him was his Father, Floyd E.Rose, his beloved adopted son John Anton Andreassen. He is survived by his mother of 94 years of age; Audra Rose, Formerly of Ohio, now resides in Flatonia TX, His daughter, Sherrin Rose and his son in-law Gordon Collins of Prescott, AZ His Daughter and caretaker Debbie Rose Morriss, and Son in-law David Morriss formerly of Bastrop, TX, now reside in Flatonia, TX. His son Edward Rose, and Daughter in-law Nanci Rose of Houston, TX.His Surrogate daughter Norma Koole and Surrogate son in-law Nevin Koole of Montgomery, Texas. He leaves behind his grandchildren, Christopher Rose,Ellen Morriss and Michael Morriss and surrogate grandchild Brooke Amber Butler Griffith. Bud was born April 17, 1936 in Charleston West Virginia; he served in the Air Force during the Korean War where he met his soul mate and beautiful wife Mary. Bud loved life and honored his mother and father, loved his family more then life itself, he was a man who would take his shirt off his back to help a stranger. He worked with GTE as a communication technician until retirement @ age 65. He loved the telecommunication world, and all that it brought him. He was courageous man and worked very hard for his family, he loved the outdoors and seeing the world he was a true cowboy. We will all truly miss him, so my beautiful father and friend until we meet again. Memorial services will be 11:00 am on Saturday at the Providence Funeral Home located at 2079 Hwy 71 East Bastrop, TX 78602, Officiating will be Reverend Gary Palla. The Family asks in lieu of flowers, you make a donation in the honor of: Lovell Aka “Bud Rose” To the Asera Hospice Care Facility, located in Bastrop, TX, for they were the Lords angels that helped, and gave their caring hands, to help him cross over.
